Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant on 5th Ave N is an outpost of the original (a no-frills, 50s-era grocery in nearby slip of a town, Leiper’s Fork) but is beloved nonetheless. And if you’re partial to bourbon, treat yourself to one from the lengthy selection at the majestic Oak Room Bar. If sleeping there is not in your budget, you can stop by to marvel at the elegant architecture, which includes a painted-glass skylight in the lobby and an art deco-style men’s bathroom in the basement. Long the city’s grand dame of lodgings, the Hermitage Hotel, built in 1910, is swathed in history and has been a pied-à-terre for governors, cowboys, movie stars and music luminaries. Also on 4th Ave N, Fairlane finds its design sweet spot in the retro-modern interiors of the 60s and 70s. One block west, Noelle channels the glamour of 1930s Nashville through a modern lens, and its grand bar, Trade Room, stuns with original brass detailing, Tennessee pink marble, terrazzo and travertine limestone. I wish I could’ve gotten everyone’s name. Thank you again !! And to the management team there at Noelle everyone else from the valet, bars, and checkout was amazing. June keep smiling and that amazing personally and you will go far in life. Hopefully she will alter this and know I truest appreciated her that evening. I have called just to say thank you and a gratitude gift but can’t seem to catch her. She gave me local places that were still open that I could try and even took my very heavy bags up so I could grab a bite before the local food places were closing. She had such a good personality that my at first demeanor towards arriving late due to flight delays was quickly turned into a smile. I was giving one the most generous welcomes when I entered Noelle for gym stay. ![]() It was a crazy ending of year 2021 but I wanted to give credit where it’s due no matter the time of day of how far from the date it may have been. Today in one of my coat pockets I found this cute card from my stay there with a smile and a signature from an employee “JUNE”. Since my stay at Noelle I’ve yet to receive service like I received at your establishment. I’m a little paste on the review but with my work schedule sometimes away from any devices is what gives me sanity.
